FDP

A faculty development programme on the topic Research Methodology with focus on SPSS was jointly organized by the IQAC and Centre for Research and Publications, School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya on October 1, 2021. Dr. Jenis Mary, Vice Principal of the college was the resource person. IQAC coordinator Ms. Cecilia F Goveas welcomed the gathering. The Resource person was given a standing ovation by the participants for being awarded by AIACHE , with the Best Innovative Faculty for the year 2020-2021.

Dr. Jenis Mary facilitated hands on training on the usage of the latest version of SPSS with regard to entryand processing of raw data. Further, an explanation on analysis and interpretation of data was demonstrated. All the participants were provided with filled Questionnaires for data entry. The participants got a clear understanding on generating bar graphs, pie charts, histograms and so on. The participants were invited to do a practical demonstration of what they had learned from the session. The FDP ended with Dr. Sandra Lobo, NAAC coordinator proposing the vote of thanks.
