Quality assessments

The Expert Committee of the UGC visited the college on 17th & 18th January 2019 to review the autonomous status of the college which was due for revision. The Committee was headed by Prof. I. S. Chauhan, Former Vice Chancellor, Barakatullah University, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

The other members included Dr. (Ms.) Janet Vasantha Kumari, Principal, Madurai Institute of Social Sciences (Autonomous), Madurai, Prof. (Ms.) R Nalini, Head, Department of Social Work, Pondicherry University, Puducherry and Dr. Salil S, Education Officer, University Grants Commission, South Western Regional Office. Dr. S B Appaji Gowda, Joint Director of Collegiate Education, Mangaluru was a member (state government nominee) as well as Dr. Paul Aquinas, Department of PG Studies & Research in Social Work, Mangalore University, Mangalagangothri.

The team members interacted with IQAC members and all other departments of the college. There were separate sessions with faculty, non-teaching staff and students. The autonomous status has been retained and extended through the academic year 2023-2024.
