SKILL ENHANCEMENT THROUGH TEAM WORK
The Post Graduate Department of Criminology and Forensic Science as a part of Forensis Forum had organized an inter-class ‘Skit Competition’ on 10th November, 2021. The main aim is to create a platform for first and second year MSc CFS students to know each other. Dr. Saritha D’Souza, Head of the department briefed about the guidelines to be followed during the team work and to ensure that role to be given to each one.
Further, students were divided into Six teams randomly by providing topics to each one relevant to the field such as Prevention of Drug abuse, Cybercrime, Road accident, Dowry harassment, Domestic violence and Human trafficking. All the teams were asked to present the topic covering the concept of the topic, causes, impact, law and preventive methods. Each team was given 20 minutes for the performance (15minutes presentation and 5 minutes discussion). The event was judged by Mr. Roshan D’Souza, Asst. Professor and Student Welfare Officer of MSc CFS and Mr. Joel Joseph, Asst. Professor of the department. The winners of the competitions were awarded with prizes. This event helped the students to display their talents, communication, confidence, leadership quality, systematic arrangement of events and effective presentation.
