AN EXPERT’S SESSION ON FORENSIC ANALYSIS OF HANDWRITING IN SUSPECTED DOCUMENTS
The Post Graduate Department of Criminology and Forensic Science had organized a virtual session by an expert for the Second Year MSc CFS, students of Questioned Document and Impression Evidences Specialization on the topic “Forensic Analysis of Handwriting in Suspected Documents” on 23rd October 2021.
Mr. Peter Kiran A, Junior Scientific Officer, State Forensic Science Laboratory, Madivala, Bengaluru and also alumnus of the department (2011-2012 first batch) was the resource person. He addressed the students about disguised writing, characteristics, comparison and anonymous writing, their forensic significance, hindrances during the investigation. He also discussed about the difference between the graphologist and the questioned document expert and their role in the respective area.
