Ms. Nisha D’Souza, Class Representative of Questioned Document and Impression Evidences Specialization gave an introductory note stating the significance of the day by an example how a pen can be used to write as well as to commit crimes but it’s up to an individual to use it the right way. Further, a session was given by Ms. Vibha M. on ‘Crimes committed by Literates and Illiterates’ through various cases stated how educated people commit crimes such as violating traffic signals, over speeding, drinking and driving, various cybercrimes, corruption and so on. On the other side, lack of education leads to unemployment and poverty where people resort to commit crimes. This session was supported with a mime highlighting crimes committed due to illiteracy and its preventive measures. As a group activity all students were divided into a team of six members and were asked to gather materials starting with a letter ‘M’ from within the campus by a prescribed time limit.
