REPORT ON THE SESSION – "TEAM-TASTIC"

The School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya (Autonomous), Mangaluru, in collaboration with the Department of MSc Counselling and IQAC, organized a Capacity Enhancement Programme titled "Team-Tastic" on Monday, 10th February 2025, at 11:40 AM in the Seminar Hall. Facilitated by Ms. Ifra Ayesha and Ms. Thushara, the session was conducted exclusively for the final-year B.A. students. Designed to be entirely activity-based, the session focused on key aspects of teamwork, including team dynamics, the different roles played within a team, communication issues, and effective intervention strategies.

Through a hands-on learning approach, students actively participated in various engaging exercises that not only enhanced their understanding of teamwork but also ensured a fun and interactive experience. Each activity was strategically crafted to simulate real-world teamwork challenges, allowing students to reflect on their own strengths, adaptability, and communication skills. The session emphasized the importance of collaboration, problem-solving, and leadership in a team setting while also addressing common communication barriers and ways to overcome them. The enthusiastic participation and positive feedback from the students highlighted the success of the session in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. "Team-Tastic" proved to be a valuable learning experience, equipping students with essential skills that will benefit them in both academic and professional environments.
