The Department of Rural Development had the honor of hosting the guest talk on financial investment awareness on Monday 17th March 2025, aimed at educating girls students on the importance of financial literacy and the fundamentals of investing at a young age. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students across BA/BCOM/BSW.
The session was handled by Dr Prashanth, Head Department of Rural Development. During the session the topics related to various avenues of investment like Mutual funds, equity markets, Bank deposits, Post Office Schemes etc were discussed. 35 students attended the session demonstrating a strong interest in financial literacy and investment.
