The PG Department of Social Work, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized a session on “Reporting & Documenting in Social Work” for the first year MSW students, 2024-2026. The session commenced promptly at 2.15PM on Thursday, 18th, July 2024 in the first year class room. Dr. Lena Ashok, our Alumni, Associate Professor, Prasanna School of Public Health, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, served as the esteemed resource person.
Ms. Aanya , first year student briefed the profile of the esteemed resource person and Dr. Sebastian rendered a welcome to Dr. Lena Ashok. The resource person took forward the session blending theory , her expertise, experience with adequate field examples. The session was highly interactive. Dr. Lena kept highlighting the need for going beyond what we see in the field. The learners were extremely happy to benefit from the session.
The session got concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Asst. Prof Jinsa Joseph, extending gratitude to Dr. Lena Ashok for her invaluable contributions. The session ended at 4.15pm. Total 45 participants benefited out of the session.
