The career counseling session on Cyber Security and Digital Forensics organized for II and III BA Criminology students on June 6, 2023, in the College Auditorium was conducted by Mr. Mohammed Hazeem Shain, a Cyber Security Analyst from EYEQ DOT NET PRIVATE LIMITED, MANGALORE.

Additionally, Mr. Shain informed the students about job opportunities in the government sector for Cyber Security professionals. He mentioned that within the federal government, agencies such as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Department of Energy often seek Cyber Security professionals. Moreover, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) offers numerous Cyber Security positions. He further mentioned that CyberCareers.gov was created as part of the Federal Cybersecurity Workforce Strategy, providing a platform for job seekers to access tools, resources, and a guide to the Cyber Security workforce within the Federal Government.

Overall, the session was highly informative, and a total of 70 students attended. The students gained valuable knowledge about various career opportunities in the field of Cyber Security and Digital Forensics, as well as insights into job prospects within the government sector.
