Crimino-Vision Events

On June 19, 2023 IV year MBBS students of A.J. Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre Kuntikana spent a half day at UG Department of Criminology, School of Social work, Roshni Nilaya, as part of the Student Exchange Programme. Students learned about branches of Forensic Science including Forensic Anthropology, Forensic Entomology, Forensic Ballistics, Glass Breakage, Security, Questioned Documents, Tool Marks, Soil and Forensic Toxicology and Thanatology.

Following the practical demonstrations, a detailed discussion was held on crime scene examination, crime scene reconstruction, crime scene sketching, handling and packing of evidence found at the crime scene, fingerprint recording, fingerprint development, sketching of foot prints, and tool mark examination. 10 students from the A J Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre Kuntikana participated in the program.
