The School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, in collaboration with the IQAC and the Department of English, held the inauguration of the Certificate Course in Communication Skills and Language on 19th August 2024. The event began with a warm welcome to the dignitaries and participants, followed by a prayer led by first-year BA students.
The inauguration was marked by the symbolic lighting of the lamp, signifying the beginning of the course aimed at enhancing students' communication skills. Dr. Charles Furtado, the chief guest, delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the importance of communication in today's world. Dr. Sandra Lobo, UG Dean of Academics, also spoke on the significance of the course for students' development.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Rafael from the first BA, expressing gratitude to all involved. The program ended on a positive note, with a shared commitment to excellence in communication and language. A total of 86 students participated in the program.
