The Department of Psychology organized a Movement Therapy workshop for students and faculty of Psychology by an expressive arts therapist and dancer, Ms Karunya Srinivasan.
A total of 32 participants equally enrolled in two batches on August 8, 2018 which took place in the College.
The entire workshop was on expressive arts which was inter modal in nature. There was movement, elements of drama therapy and finally art therapy. There was a body experience even before the mind could process. The process was externalized moving from one medium of art to another. Using different art forms and movement helped to physicalize and concretize the abstract.
