BSW Department& Women’s Cell, School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangaluru in association with All India Hair and Beauty Association, Fly High Charitable Trust, Indian Red CROSS Society organised Hair and Blood Donation Camp at School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya on Saturday,22 July 2023.
Honourable Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly U T Khader, was the Chief guest. Mrs Corrine Rasquinha, Founder, White Doves & Assoc Prof. Vineetha K, Registrar (Evaluation) School of Social Work, Mrs. Shashiprabha Kotian, Advocate & Notary & Mrs. Sheryl Iona, Director, Fly High Charitable Trust were the guests of honour. Mrs. Mercy Veena D’Souza, Mrs. Sonia D ‘Lima & Sri Jagadeesh were on the dais as organisers of the Programme.
One Wheel Chair donated to a needy person, 32 Units of Blood donation to Indian Red Cross Society, D K Branch and thirty-eight ladies donated their hair for Cancer patients. Fifteen BSW Students participated in the Programme. Mrs. Mercy Veena D’Souza welcomed the gathering, Mrs. Sonia D’ Lima thanked and Sri Jagadeesh was the Master of Ceremony.
