On January 22 to 27, 2024, Sixteen Youth Red Cross Volunteers from the School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya successfully completed their internship at Wenlock District Hospital Mangaluru as part of the Service Extension Programme. Under the guidance of Mr. Ravindra, the hospital's supervisor, the interns engaged in various tasks and received instructions over Six days. Their duties included OPD registration, providing front-line services, assisting in the child ward, issuing Disability Certificates, E.C.G monitoring, and wound dressing. Additionally, the YRC volunteers worked in the community library of the hospital and took turns at distributing reading materials to patients in different wards. On 27 January 2024, YRC volunteers along with YRC Programme Officer Mrs. Anusuya Kamath visited the Red Cross Blood Bank Unit at Lady Goschen Hospital, Mangaluru
