On 20th September 2024, the SAHAYOG Forum of the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Department, in collaboration with MSc Counselling Department ,School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore, organized an Extension Service Programme titled "Play, Learn, and Grow" for 56 migrant children studying at Government higher Primary School Bolar West. The session was designed to create an interactive and engaging environment for the children, encouraging learning through play-based activities. The session was held at 2pm led by Miss Aparna S Shetty II MSc CFS student of School of Social Work, Roshni nilaya. The objective of the program was to integrate play with educational content and aimed to enhance the children's cognitive, social, and emotional skills, foster creativity, and encourage active participation in a safe and supportive environment

The event was coordinated by Ms Brinelle Fernandes, Ms Alvisha Dsouze , Mr Pavan Poojary, Mr Rahul R, II BSW students, under the supervision of Field Supervisor Mrs. Anusuya Kamath, Assistant Professor BSW Department at the School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore.
