On September 26th  2024, the SAHAYOG Forum, BSW Department, School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore, organized an Extension Service Programme on Cyber Attacks and Cyber Security for Children for 56 Lower Primary Students of West Bolar Kannada medium Govt School at 1:30 pm. The resource person for the program was Mr.  Hari Prasad, from 2nd year PG on Cyber forensic, Yenapoya deemed to be University, Mangalore.The objective of the Cyber Security session was to raise awareness among lower primary students about the risks of cyber attacks, teach them basic online safety practices, and equip them with the knowledge to protect themselves in the digital world. The session aimed to foster a sense of responsibility and caution while using the internet, ensuring that the children understand the importance of cyber security from a young age.  The event was organized by Mr. Pavan  2nd BSW, Ms. Brinelle 2nd BSW,  Rahul 2st BSW, Alvisha 1st BSW under the guidance of Field Supervisor Dr. Sophia N Fernandez,  principal of School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore.
