Ms. Sarik Ankitha, the head of the criminology department, served as a guest speaker during the "Cyber Security" session at the 2024 summer camp hosted by the Family Service Agency in collaboration with the Rural development Department, School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya. The camp targeted children from FSA beneficiaries and the Souterpet community on April 24, 2024. During her presentation, she discussed various cyber-crimes and emphasized the tactics employed by cyber criminals. She also advised students on safe social media usage and methods to prevent virtual crimes. 35 students participated in the session.
