The first year students of the Post Graduate Department of Criminology and Forensic Science, accompanied by their faculty member Assistant Professor Roshan D’Souza, actively participated in an Anti-Drug Awareness Campaign organized by CODP/BHANDAVYA, Padaua College Youth Wings, Red Cross, White Dove Mangaluru, and Catholic Sabha Mangaluru Pradesh, in association with the School of Social Work, St. Agnes College. The campaign, titled "Anti-Drug Walkathon," took place on Friday, September 25, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm, The Walkathon started from Padaua College, Mangaluru, and concluded at Bendur Church.
The primary objective of this initiative was to raise awareness for a drug-free society. The participation in the campaign sparked enthusiasm and a commitment to contribute towards achieving a drug-free community. A total of 16 students and one faculty actively participated in this impactful event. The students, known for their enthusiasm and energy, appreciated and found the campaign profoundly meaningful.
