The Post Graduate Department of Criminology and Forensic Science had provided one- month internship to Ms. Praveeksha Kamath, a student of MSc Criminology and Forensic Science, Maharaja’s College, Mysuru in the month of November 2023. During the course of internship, Ms Praveeksha was provided conceptual ideas and hands-on-training in various aspects of the subject such as crime scene investigation, photography reconstruction, techniques of interviewing witness, interrogation of suspects, functions of CCTV camera, recording of fingerprints, developing latent finger prints, soil analysis, recording of palm prints, forensic examination of documents including detection of erasure, obliteration, indented writing, secret writing, torn documents and signature analysis. She was also trained to aid in the administration and technical work.
