One day hands-on workshop on ‘Data Processing and Management in Social Work Research’ was organised on May 8, 2023 (Monday) by the Post Graduate Department of Social Work in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) for the social work students. Dr. Sudhir Prabhu H, Professor & HOD, Community Medicine, Fr. Muller Medical College, Mangaluru was the Resource Person. Ninety-two students from third and fourth semesters were present for the briefing session in the morning which elaborately covered Basics of statistics in Social Work Research. Thereafter, a hand-on training workshop was organised in two batches (morning and afternoon). Each batch had two and half hours exclusive practical training on data processing and management using Microsoft Excel and Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS).
