On May 16, 2024, the Innovate to Elevate Forum of the Secretarial Practice Department (SP), in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), successfully organized a “Student Orientation session on higher studies and opportunities in the banking and government sectors”. Approximately 100 students from the BA and BSW programs attended the session in the College Auditorium at 11:45 am.

The session was graced by the presence of Mr. Ashith Poojary, Manager of T.I.M.E., Mangalore Centre, who served as the esteemed Resource Person, Mrs. Deepika, I2E Forum Coordinator and HoD of Secretarial Practice, and Prof. Cecilia Farida Goveas, the IQAC Coordinator. The session commenced with the Master of Ceremonies, Aysha Amana from II BA, setting the tone for the session. Halima Shaza from II BA delivered a warm welcome speech, extending greetings to the esteemed guests.

 

 

 

Our resource person, Mr. Ashith Poojary took over the stage, ready to impart insightful knowledge. Throughout the session, he delivered valuable insights on various topics including setting goals, planning for life after graduation, pursuing higher studies, preparing for entrance exams, and exploring career opportunities in the banking and government sectors. He also elaborated on the advantages and disadvantages of each aspect, providing a comprehensive understanding. The attending students warmly embraced his expertise and guidance, finding them immensely beneficial for their future endeavors.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Afrina Banu of I BA, expressing gratitude to all participants and organizers for their contributions. Mrs. Deepika, HOD of Secretarial Practice presented a token of appreciation to the Mr. Ashith Poojary, symbolizing the gratitude of the organizers and participants alike. Overall, the Student Orientation served as an enriching platform for students to gain valuable insights into their future career paths and opportunities for further education and employment. The efforts of the I2E Forum were instrumental in ensuring the success of the event.
