The “Innovate to Elevate Forum” of Secretarial Practice Department (SP), in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), successfully organized the "Student Orientation Session on Unlocking Global Opportunities in CMA USA" on Wednesday 24th July 2024 was attended by 50 students of B.A. and B. Com departments.
The session featured distinguished guests including Ms. Sheetal Suvarna, a renowned career guidance and motivational speaker, Mrs. Deepika, Head of the Secretarial Practice Department and I2E Forum Coordinator, and Dr. Saritha D'Souza, IQAC Coordinator.
Program Highlights:
Master of Ceremonies: Halima Shaza from III B.A. commenced the session.
Welcome Address: Delivered by Jonathan Alex Pais, President of the I2E Forum from III B.A., who greeted the guests warmly.
Ms. Sheetal Suvarna provided an in-depth presentation on the benefits of obtaining a CMA USA qualification. She emphasized how this credential can unlock job opportunities in top multinational companies, promising significant career growth. Ms. Suvarna also highlighted the achievements of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), known for its high success rates and successful placements.
The event concluded with Vaishali from III B.A. delivering a heartfelt vote of thanks. Mrs. Deepika presented a token of appreciation to Ms. Sheetal Suvarna, acknowledging her valuable contribution. The session aimed to equip students with a clear understanding of their career goals and future prospects, particularly in the global arena.
