On July 12, 2024, SAHAYOG Forum- BSW Department and IQAC of School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore, organized a workshop titled "Enhancing Career Prospects: Resume Etiquette" for Thirty One Final Year BSW students in A3 room at 11:45am.
Asst. Prof. Veena B.K HOD of BSW department introduced the resource person Mr. Vikram M. M, Senior Executive People Management Texport Industries Private Limited Bangalore.
Mr. Vikram began with sharing his journey at the School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya. He highlighted the key information that should be included in a resume and emphasized the importance of additional courses for career enhancement.
The workshop concluded with an engaging Q&A session followed by vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Teresa Rose Santosh, a Final Year BSW student. The program was organized under the leadership of Asst. Prof. Veena B K HoD of the BSW department, with Asst. Prof. Anusuya Kamath, Asst. Prof. Colin D'Souza and Asst. Prof. Deepika Sanil was present.
This workshop effectively enlightened the students on creating impactful resumes and the importance of including pertinent information. Mr. Vikram also underscored the value of pursuing additional courses to bolster their career prospects.
