Sahayog Events

The SAHAYOG Forum of the Bachelor of Social Work Department, School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, organized an Extension Service Programme on “Social Media: Blessing or Curse” on 28th February 2025 at Bharathi English Medium School, Kulai, at 2:00 PM. A total of 70 students from Grades 5 to 7 attended the session.

Ms. Greeshma V S, a Psychology student, served as the resource person and provided valuable insights into social media, its uses, and its impact on psychological well-being. She discussed both the benefits and risks of social media usage, emphasizing the importance of using it mindfully to maintain good mental health.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Sanketh D Nayak. The event was successfully coordinated by Ms. Haleema, Ms. Kavitha L, Ms. Anjana, and Mr. Sanketh from III BSW, under the guidance of Mrs. Deepika Sanil, Assistant Professor and Field Supervisor, BSW Department.
