The Sociology-Economics Forum organized a Life Skill Development workshop for the forum students (First, Second, Third Year) on 6th September 2018 in the Seminar Hall of Roshni Nilaya.
Associate Prof. Ms. Cecilia Farida Goveas welcomed the gathering and introduced the workshop and its objective. Principal, Prof. Juliet C.J. shared her thoughts about how important life skills are along with formal education. It is life skills that truly empowers an individual.
The workshop was inaugurated by untying the ribbon to a list of life skills put innovatively together.
The Resource person Mr. Preetham Rosrigues, Director Inchara Foundation and Founder of Project Angel started the session by conducting games, skill development activities. The main topic of the workshop was goal setting and self -esteem and confidence.
The one-day workshop is a part of a three-day workshop programme. December 2018 and January 2019 shall see two more days of the workshop with other life skills being covered.
At the end of the workshop, a completion certificate shall be given to each student who has attended all the three sessions.
