School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore, organised an Inter-Collegiate Fest “EXPRESSIONS” on Saturday, September 15, 2018.
The theme of the Fest was " HUMANITÉ "- ‘Breaking differences’.
Captain Brijesh Chowta, an ex-serviceman, a political thinker, an entrepreneur, an academician and also a management expert inaugurated the fest at 9:00 a.m. He addressed the audience highlighting few sentiments and expreiences that he learned from his life in the army, “Humanity begins from the society, how we develop and perceive ourselves, that’s how we can help this society grow in a more humane way”.
Ms. Juliet.C.J, Principal, School of Social Work, presided over the function.
Ms. Jenis Mary welcomed the gathering and Ms. Sarik Ankitha delivered the vote of thanks. The student convenor, Ms. Diana Bangera unveiled the curtain.

VALEDICTORY:
Every beautiful show has to come to an end, and so did Expressions 2018.
The Chief Guests of the Valedictory ceremony were, Shri. Megha Raj, Producer of "My name is Annappa" and Shri. Manju Rai, Actor of "My name is Annappa".
Shri. Manju Rai had a hearty talk with the audience inclining on the importance of having a good sense of humor and a good spirit that will eventually lead us towards our ultimate goal - HUMANITY.
The overall championship trophy was bagged by St. Aloysius College, Mangalore, and PADUA College, Mangalore were the runners up.
