On the 11th of September, 2024, the School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, witnessed the inaugural ceremony of its newly formed Music Association—Mesmerised Allegro Crew (MAC)—a momentous event that brought together the musical talents of both UG and PG students. The program was held at Maria Paiva Hall at 3:30 PM, and the ceremony was filled with an air of excitement and enthusiasm, celebrating the power of music and unity. The program commenced with a warm greeting by Raksha, setting a vibrant tone for the evening. This was followed by a mesmerizing Invocation Dance performed by Sindhoora,

Prasanna, the President of MAC, then took the stage to deliver his Welcome Speech. In his address, he outlined the vision and mission of the Music Association, highlighting the aim to bring together students from both UG and PG departments to learn and grow in music together. He emphasized that MAC is a platform for collaboration and creativity, committed to nurturing musical talent across the campus. During his speech, he also took the President’s pledge, committing himself to lead the association with dedication and passion.

The Chief guest bestowed badges on the newly appointed office bearers. Swati, the Treasurer, delivered a heartfelt speech explaining the name and vision behind the Mesmerised Allegro Crew. She expressed how "Mesmerised" symbolizes the captivating power of music, and "Allegro" represents the lively energy and enthusiasm with which the association approaches music. Officially, the association would be referred to as MAC or Mackies. The dignitaries and the office bearers, unveiled the logo together, marking the official birth of MAC. The Music Association put on an impressive performance, showcasing their talent with 13 female singers, 2 male singers, and a team of 3 instrumentalists playing the keyboard, cajon, and guitar. Their harmonious performance truly embodied the spirit of unity and talent within the association. The audience was treated to the official video unveiling the name of the Music Association—Mesmerised Allegro Crew.
The celebration continued with a cake-cutting ceremony, where the core team of the Music Association and the chief guests shared a symbolic moment of togetherness. The ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Jayala Vimcy. The inauguration of the Mesmerised Allegro Crew (MAC) was a resounding success, leaving the audience inspired and looking forward to the musical journey ahead. The event was a perfect example of how music can unite and bring joy to the college community.
