M.P.S.W. – Family Cosmos Forum Events

The 1st and 2nd year Medical and Psychiatric Social Work students of School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangaluru conducted an Awareness Programme on the 25th of September 2019 on the theme Suicide Prevention at Delhi Public School, MRPL, Mangalore, for High School students.. This was conducted to commemorate the ‘World Mental Health Day’ that will be observed on October 10th, 2019. The students enacted a role play based on four scenarios - Academic failure, Relationship issues, Addiction and Bullying’.

A brief explanation and discussion on mental health with an emphasis on managing and coping with stress was performed by the students. The school children were given awareness on the above themes. There were a lot of queries from these children. This initiative of the students was very well appreciated by the Management and the Faculty of Delhi Public School.
