The Centre for Professional Excellence, Department of English and IQAC organized a session on personality development for the students of BA and BSW on 30th October 2023 in the Seminar Hall, School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya.
Ms. Vineetha K., Associate Professor and Registrar of Evaluation, Ms. Cecelia Goveas, Associate Professor and IQAC Coordinator, Ms. Vineetha Pereira, Assistant Professor and Director, Centre for Professional Excellence and Sr. Rancy D’Souza, Assistant Professor from the Department of English were present for the session.
The session began with an invocation to god sung by the final year students of BA and a floral welcome presented to the esteemed guest Ms. Wilma Merina D’Sa, Head of Academics – HETIC India, Human Resource Specialist, Academician, Soft Skills Coach and Consultant.
The expert talk was a lively interaction with the students that also kept them engaged with activities. Ms. D’Sa spoke on various aspects that groom and build an individual and stressed on ‘confidence’ being the prime factor that shaped a person. She concluded with a mantra on ‘SELF’ and encouraged to begin with a ‘Smile’.
The session wrapped up with words of gratitude by Ms. Inika Shetty, student of I BA.
