On September 20, 2024, the SAHAYOG Forum of the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) department at the School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore, conducted an extension service program focused on raising awareness about "Building Resilience" for 47 primary school students from Kannur English Medium School. The session, held at 2:30 p.m., was led by Ms. Sahana Alphonsa V S, a second-year MSc Counseling student from the School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya. The program aimed to empower the children with knowledge and practical skills to enhance their emotional, social, and physical resilience, fostering their well-being and personal development in the face of challenges. The event was organized by Ms. Thulasi Krishna K (II BSW), Sr. Sabina (II BSW), Mr. Mathew (II BSW), and Mr. Ebenezer (I BSW), under the guidance of field supervisor Mrs. Anusuya Kamath, Assistant Professor in the BSW Department at Roshni Nilaya.
