On September 20, 2024, the SAHAYOG Forum, of the BSW Department, School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore, conducted an Extension Service Program on “Safe and Unsafe Touch” for 19 lower primary students of UBMC Higher Primary School, Gorigudda, at 1:30 pm. Ms. Jeslin James, a graduate in B. Pharmacy from NITTE University, Mangalore, served as the Resource Person. The session aimed to help young students identify safe and unsafe touch by understanding personal boundaries, thereby empowering them to prevent unsafe touch. The programme was organized by Mr. Jithin, a second-year BSW student, and Elfreeda, a first-year BSW student, the program was held under the guidance of Field Supervisor Dr. Sophia N. Fernandes, Principal of the School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore.
