Sahayog Events

On October 1, 2024, the SAHAYOG Forum of the BSW Department at the School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore, conducted an extension service program in honour of Gandhi Jayanthi, emphasizing the importance of road safety. The program reached 99 secondary students from B.M. High School and was held from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The session featured Mr. Balakrishna H.N, Inspector of Ullal Police Station, as the guest speaker. The objective of the programme is to raise awareness among secondary school children about the principles of Gandhian values and the importance of road safety, fostering a sense of responsibility and community well-being. Coordination of the event was managed by III BSW students Ms. Tanvi M, Sr. Sahaya Penciya, and Mr. Dani Sam Saji, under the supervision of Mrs. Anusuya Kamath, Field Supervisor and Assistant Professor in the BSW Department at the School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore.
