To truly empower the students with life skills and prepare them for career goals the Socio-Economic Forum in association with Inchara Foundation conducted a One -Day Skill Development Programme on 28.03.2019.
The programme was attended by 26 students of the Sociology-Economics department. The Resource person for the programme was Mr. Preetham Rodrigues, Director Inchara Foundation and Founder of Project Angel. He started the session by conducting games, skill development activities. The main objective of the workshop was to develop body language, self-confidence, grooming, and non-verbal communication among the students.
Mock interviews were also conducted for the students. At the end of the workshop, a completion certificate was given to each student who had attended both the sessions of the programme. The faculty of the department of Economics Associate Professor, Cecilia F. Goveas and Faculty of the Department of Sociology Ms. Joan O’Brien were also present during the programme.
