The Undergraduate Department of the School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya celebrated three days of Navratri festivities with enthusiasm and participation from both students and staff. This event not only highlighted the cultural significance of the festival but Each day was dedicated to a specific color, representing unique qualities that resonate with the spirit of unity and harmony. 

Red- 8th October

Value: Strength and Courage

Red stands for energy, passion, and action. By wearing this color, participants embodied strength and courage, showcasing the determination needed to face challenges. This day highlighted the importance of staying true to one’s beliefs and being bold in the pursuit of aspirations.

Blue 9th October

Value: Peace and Stability

Blue symbolizes tranquility, wisdom, and trust. Choosing blue underscored the importance of nurturing peace and stability within the community. It encouraged individuals to develop a sense of calm and reliability, fostering harmony among peers and creating a supportive environment for all.

Pink - 10th October

Value: Compassion and Love

Pink is commonly associated with compassion, love, and nurturing. By wearing pink, students and staff celebrated kindness and empathy. This day served as a reminder to look after one another and to build an inclusive space where everyone feels valued and supported.

The Navratri celebration through these colors not only enlivened the college environment but also reinforced vital values that contribute to a unified and harmonious community.
