The farewell ceremony for the School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya's batch of 2021-2024 was an unforgettable occasion themed as the Met Gala, inviting the outgoing students to showcase their finest attire on May 18th, 2024.

The formal proceedings commenced with a majestic procession, blending solemnity with jubilation. Alex, the Master of Ceremonies, extended a graceful welcome, accompanied by Amana, who guided the proceedings with finesse.

The highlight of the event unfolded with the Presidential Address delivered by Prof. Vineetha K, the Registrar of Evaluation. Her words struck a chord with the students, reflecting on their journey, accomplishments, and the bright paths awaiting them. Prof. Vineetha K. also bestowed appreciation upon the college cabinet, recognizing their steadfast dedication and contributions.

Following suit, Prof. Sandra Lobo delivered an inspiring speech, sharing invaluable wisdom and personal experiences. Her words of encouragement and counsel resonated deeply, offering closure and motivation to the graduating cohort.

The program proceeded with the exchange of mementos and gifts, evoking nostalgia and gratitude in equal measure.

A pivotal segment of the formal proceedings featured student speeches, blending emotions, humor, and heartfelt gratitude, encapsulating the essence of their Roshni Nilaya journey. The formalities concluded with a vote of thanks.

Transitioning to the informal segment, MCs Mahed Sadia and Teresa orchestrated a lively atmosphere filled with entertainment and camaraderie, featuring engaging games and dance performances by the juniors. This informal segment perfectly complemented the farewell, blending emotions and celebration seamlessly.

The student cabinet received mementos as tokens of appreciation for their service to the college.
